Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece, a city of incredible beauty, long history, rich cultural tradition, and excellent gastronomy. Start your tour in this bustling city from the Roman Agora above Aristotle Square, make a stop at the imposing Basilica of St. Dimitriou, patron saint of the city, and continue to the Castles where you will enjoy the magnificent view of the whole of Thessaloniki and the Thermaikos Gulf.

Descending, head to Kamara arch after visiting the Rotunda and continue your walk via Navarinou Square to the seafront. Visit the Archaeological Museum with finds of the Macedonian royal family and the White Tower, a museum of the city’s Ottoman history. Enjoy your ride in Nea Paralia, greet Alexander the Great riding his horse, and enjoy the enchanting sunset at “Umbrellas”. Take a tour of the picturesque alleys of the historic center and the Ano Poli and dine in the famous Ladadika. Do not forget to taste Serraiki bougatsa, Smyrna soutzoukakia, Thessaloniki bun, and in any way the famous trigona Panoramatos.
